Newfoundland is well know for its beautiful landfroms like mountains.The Torngat mountains of northern Labrador contain some of the finest examples of alpine glacial landforms in Canada.The mountains also have a vary nice scienic veiw they also have tours on and around the mountains and also do helicopter tours around the mountains.
grand lake
is a large lake in the interior of the island of Newfoundland, in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It has an area of 534 km², making it the largest lake on Newfoundland. The lake was flooded in 1924 with the construction of the Main Dam to a depth of approximately 12 meters above original lake level
